There are quite a few "alumni" -- when I was more active in the Shire, I used to keep running into them at Kingdom events. Duke Stephen of Beckenham is one, as I recall. Since I joined the SCA years after most of them left, I had no idea most of them had ever been in Davis.

(I still kick myself occasionally for not having discovered the SCA about 20 years earlier than I actually did. I was *in* Davis in 1977.)
