I agree -- I don't understand why everyone sets the thermostat at 68 during the summer. 75 or 80 gets rid of the worst of the heat without exposing anyone to heat exhaustion. I know, some people are uncomfortable when it's too hot. But what about those of us who can't deal with the cold? Put more clothes on? But it's summer! Besides, speaking only for myself, more clothes don't necessarily help -- my hands stay freezing, my teeth still want to chatter, and I hurt! It's bad enough at most work places that I run a space heater when the A/C is on.
