Apologies. I now realise WIP might have been specific to the Usenet writers' group where I first met [livejournal.com profile] hrj.

It's just Work In Progress, though as my novels have been put on hold over the summer while I work on other more urgent projects, it's more accurate to say W(not currently)IP. :)
