To the extent that I'm thinking about it seriously, I'm thinking in terms of the Concord/Walnut Creek area. I fully expect to be working in biotech for the duration, so as long as I have BART access, a commute would be manageable. I wouldn't want to be somewhere that I didn't have public transport as a viable option.
