I love the detail...

... of the little kid wanting/insisting on helping and you (or your subconscious, if the difference matters) found the perfect job for him.

My in-laws were evacuated from their house in AZ twice earlier this year due to fire threat. It has been a nasty year for them, and the irony of the recent and continuing flooding here in the east is not amusing.
