I picked up some rather nasty bug during my travels and spent yesterday mostly unconscious with a fever of 101.4F. So: no Alpennia blog yesterday, and no A Little Princess blog today. Sorry about that.
I don't know about "bounce" -- these days, recovery from random viruses feels more like the slow peel of a ball of silly putty off the wall of splatness, dragging with it an afterimage of...wait, where was this metaphor going?
In fact, I can generally assume I'm going to be in ok shape except for a lingering cough after a few days of solid rest, and at least I don't have things migrate off into sinus infections or pneumonia or anything else. So I can't really complain.
