I tried that, but cherry pits are fairly separate from the flesh and these plums have solidly embedded pits. It ended up being a mess. I might try some limoncello. I love lemon curd but my favorite recipe is egg based and I wouldn't trust it to keep if I made more than a small batch at a time.
