I was thinking "ping" in the sense of "confirm that I have the right account for you" not as in "I want to try a conversation now." But since it wouldn't be an interruption I'll drop a comment there now and then you can confirm. But experience with others suggests that Skype may be a bad choice currently. I've been having pretty good luck with Zoom.
