Taking advantage of a bare floor

One extra benefit of having a room with a bare particleboard floor at the moment is that when one is using a poster-sized magic marker on some old sheets to make scenic backdrops for the "goddess party" at A&S, one can lay them out on the floor and not worry that the marker will bleed through like a stuck pig. (It would have been much more convenient if I'd had some sort of vertical surface to do it on, because then I could have projected my source images onto the cloth and traced, rather than working freehand.) The three scenes were designed to work either as a triptych or as independent items.

And with that, the only thing left for A&S (other than packing) is cooking up my potluck contribution, which was scheduled for tomorrow night anyway.

Do you have an old tarp laying around? If not, they aren't expensive at K-Mart, Target, MallWart or even an army surplus store. Hang it on the wall to protect it and then you can project to your shrink's content.

But I would say that they came out fine as it is. The top one reminds me (not really like it, but it evokes the memory) of the amphitheater in Cagliari.

The top one is based on the Odeon of Herod Atticus at the Acropolis in Athens. I totally screwed up the verticality of the perspective on that one because I wasn't taking into account that I was skewing it from the angle in my original.
