I have to chuckle at your observations of the die rolls in Settlers. In our gaming group, we can guarantee that whenever we play Settlers the dice will pick one number that will then get rolled a LOT -- incredibly disproportionate rolls of that number. We can also guarantee that one of the more common numbers (5, 6, 8, 9) will be vanishingly *rare* in that game. Trouble is, we can't tell in advance *which* number will be star-favored and which one will get the shaft...
