I went back looking in my January entries to see if I had any irresolutions on record. Apparently not. Therefore I devote this post to a list of "retrolutions": a list of items that, had I posted them as projections a year ago, I could now count as successful resolutions.

* Get the house painted.
* Complete all the major house reorganization.
* Start dating again.
* Start writing again.
* Lose 40 pounds.
* Take up a new sport.
* Take a road trip.

Gee, this is so much more satisfying that going on record with prospective resolutions!

If I did that, my entire list would be:

* Don't lose my job.
* Continue breeding.

Which isn't a bad set, I suppose, but I'd've liked to finish some back-burnered projects too...

I did consider including "remain alive" and "remain employed" but I'd rather take those as assumed.

I spent a great deal of 2007 wondering if remaining alive would actually count as a win or a fail for the year. I'm still not sure.
