I found WHAT in my pasta?
Aug. 28th, 2006 09:41 pmLet's see: spinach fettuccini, check; mild turkey sausage, check; chopped Portobello mushrooms, check; chopped garlic, check; commercial diced tomatos in sauce, check; grated parmesan cheese, check. So where did the half-inch #10 wood screw come from? Fortunately, I found it by the fork clinking against it at the bottom of the bowl. Urk … maybe I'd better check the handle of the half-circle knife I used to chop the mushrooms.
I got rid of my first object through freecycle today -- my old bicycle which I'd been unsuccessfully trying to give away to a school bike refurbishing program. I have high hopes that I may be able to find someone interested in the couches eventually. It's rather startling what odds and ends people are looking for. I haven't listed anything yet -- just scanning the daily requests.
The weather at coronation this weekend was everything I could hope for, and there's nothing like camping on green grass. The cavalcade [note: literal sense of word] at coronation was quite impressive. I think they must have pulled in every single horse-owner in the continental part of the kingdom.
xrian was honored with a Leaf of Merit at Sunday's court. (One must save her from the need to boast of it herself.)
