Book, but no review

Postles, Dave & Joel T. Rosenthal eds. 2006. Studies on the Personal Name in Later Medieval England and Wales. Medieval Institute Publications, Kalamazoo.
And right there starting on p.211 is "Comparing Historic Name Communities in Wales: Some Approaches and Considerations" by Heather Jones. It's mostly an exploration of various types of statistical comparisons that can be made on small-sample name data sets with a lot of time spent exploring how small a sample size will give reasonably valid results for a comparison.
