Mar. 15th, 2007 01:27 pmBiked out to the Berkeley marina for lunch today -- gorgeous day, although the corollary of the still air was the blanket of smog hanging over SF. On the way back I found someone's checkbook lying in the roadway. Called the phone number and managed to catch the owner just after he'd finished having the bank cancel the account. (But it was a simple loss, not leftovers from theft, thank goodness.) I'll pop it in the mail later.
On the book front, I'm plowing my way through entering the as-yet-uncataloged books that have already been shelved. Then I can get started on the cookbooks. (Hey
