On taking a joke

Weekend To Do

At this point it looks like I've succeeded in my resolution not to attend Consonance this year. And since I haven't heard back on the possibility of going off to a concert with one of my Blind Date Project dates from back in December (yes, there will be more posts on the Date Filter in a couple weeks) I guess I have a totally unscheduled weekend. That leaves me with a short list of of activities to attempt to accomplish this weekend:

* Go tree-shopping and find something to plant where the apple used to be.
* Mow the lawn.
* Do the taxes.
* Design, cut out, and sew my overgown for the Perfectly Period Feast.
* Stain and finish my bench for the same.
* Sew cushions for the bench.
* Sew the lacing eyelets on the new doublet for PPF.
* Re-fit my 15th c. hose, create a new pattern from them, and make new hose to go with the new doublet.
* Install Leopard on both the Macs.
* Do complete backup prior to the preceding.
* Pack for next week's mid-week ski runaway (must organize with thread_walker re: details).
* Do usual weekend grocery shopping.

Yup, that all sounds doable. I should manage about half of it.
