Brief Notes

The Perfectly Period Feast was wonderful. Costume Con was fun. I just got home from the latter at 1am. Tired now; up for work in the morning. And congratulations to sarahbellem and friends for winning Best In Show at the Costume Con historic masquerade!

Promissory Note

This is a promissory for three posts (or three topics in some number of posts):

I might have gotten to the first on my lunch hour, but I figured I desperately needed to get out on the bike and get my blood pumping if I hope to stay awake for the rest of the day. And it's good to remind myself occasionally that a lunch hour is more than enough time to bike up to UC Berkeley and check out a library book and still have time for a bite to eat when I get back to my desk.

By the way, folks: with regard to reports on the PPF, it is not sufficient to claim that aastg has made the definitive post on the topic. Everyone has their own perspective and it would be useful to hear more angles in detail.
