Well, I suppose it was worth it. The bringing work home thing, that is. The current interim investigation report is weighing in (at the moment) at ca. 120 pages. This means I have high hopes of the final report making it up to at least 150 pages. That'd be a new personal best. (For investigations, that is -- not for research papers in general.) All the sub-team reports have been integrated. Everything has been given uniform formatting and style. And I have one page of queries and requests for the sub-team folks and another page of notes for things I need to look up and add. (Things for which the files are at work.) This means that, having given a deadline of getting this to QA for review the end of last week, I have some hopes of getting it turned in by the end of tomorrow. This is good. I would be much less happy if I hadn't had the time to make it look all pretty. And I'd be tearing my hair out tomorrow if I were only then learning for the first time that a set of a dozen pH graphs had not been given to me in cut-and-pastable (pasteable?) form.
