Taking advantage of a bare floor

One extra benefit of having a room with a bare particleboard floor at the moment is that when one is using a poster-sized magic marker on some old sheets to make scenic backdrops for the "goddess party" at A&S, one can lay them out on the floor and not worry that the marker will bleed through like a stuck pig. (It would have been much more convenient if I'd had some sort of vertical surface to do it on, because then I could have projected my source images onto the cloth and traced, rather than working freehand.) And with that, the only thing left for A&S (other than packing) is cooking up my potluck contribution, which was scheduled for tomorrow night anyway.
