It seems to happen that the weather and temperature patterns combine every year to schedule my return to bike-commuting at the start of Daylight Savings. Which means that I suddenly get hit with more warmth and extra sunlight and the physical boost of extra exercise all at the same time. The world feels so much more exciting and ... possible on this side of that changeover. And everything smells wonderful. Not like the inside of cars and buildings. I get another hour a day on my audiobooks while putting in my 10 miles at lunch. (Only 3.5 more hours to go on The Count of Monte Cristo. I'm seeing some interesting but not consciously intentional structural parallels with bits of the background for my Daughter of Mystery. Some of them are for aspects of the story I hadn't encountered before consuming the full text. Movie versions hardly touch on 5% of the original story!) Heck, I get out away from my desk for lunch at least 3-4 days out of the week, which is better than sitting in the office reading Facebook on the iPhone over my salad.
