Investiture

One more happy commitment completed: vittoriosa was the most beautiful Princess of the Mists ever (and I'm not just saying that because I dressed her ... but I'll take some small credit). Although I took my camera, I never took it out to get pix, so I'll have to see if I can snag a link to someone else's pictures of the outfit. I guess I'm becoming quite the courtier these days -- this is the second court I've been on nearly as many years. Other than spending the first half of the day attending and being useful, it was mostly a day of hanging out and chatting. Many people congratulated me on my car recovery. I was approached with two (unrelated) interesting propositions, each of which will require further consideration and discussion. Yes, I'm being cryptic, but if anything comes of either of them you'll hear more about it. ysabella_dolfin's feast was delicious (duh!) and extremely well-paced. Lots of delicious sausages and cured meats with a leavening of vegetable dishes. Just the right amount of food too.

I also took delivery of a bunch of empty used packing boxes. This makes the plan one step more real.
