Semi-productive

After my self-indulgent lay-a-bed episode yesterday, I did eventually start whittling down the to-do list. Got the xmas tree taken down, which involved clipping all the branches from the trunk and bundling them up in a sheet, since the tree was far too brittle to try to take it out whole without shedding needles at every turn. Still lots of shed needles, but the astounding bagless vaccum cleaner took care of them. I moved forward on several object-divestment items, although listing the old tire chains on Freecycle seems to have been a complete fail. You wouldn't think so, in that they're "old" only in the sense of "were purchased for my previous vehicle. In fact, they're completely unused (still packed up in the original plastic bag, in fact). I bought them for the Ford because I was driving under "must carry chains" conditions, but never ended up actually needing to chain up.
Anyone interested in the following: Laclede brand PL Type Radial Tire Chains -- Stock no. 1118, fits tire size P175/70R-13
The tire size seems to be the critical metric. This is going to sound peculiar, but if I don't have any luck giving them away for free, I may have to resort to selling them on Craigslist or something. (Yeah, it would be nice to get back some of my investment, but actually selling them involves me in a lot more hassle than giving them away does. Ideally, I'd like to swap them for something that fits the Element, but that's asking the universe for a bit too my synchrony.)
I'm still fighting off the scratchy throat, which means it's time to go to bed.
