It's too darn hot!
Nov. 15th, 2005 09:10 pmGiven that I often listen to the news before going to bed, and given that I wake up to news on the clock radio, you'd think that when all the weather people are talking about the unusual pressure formations that are going to turn the Bay Area into an oven today, I just might have paid attention enough to dress appropriately? Nah.
This is the weather we're supposed to have in October -- the rain gives way to blazing heat, the falling leaves dry out crisply and turned into powder that then gets blown into your eyes, and the back of your brain is constantly analyzing the breeze for the scent of brush fires. It doesn't belong in November. November is for not having to think about putting on long-sleeved turtlenecks in the morning.
