My Fi is Re'ed

hrjI signed the papers for the refinance today. Final results: 4.85% (down from 6%), a monthly savings of $450, and the out-of-pocket closing costs ended up being about $1000 less than previously estimated. I have no complaints. Oh, and I can probably use the appraisal as leverage to get my property taxes cut, too, since they're currently set based on the original mortgage's appraisal, when the property was at peak value. So now I can figure out what my budget is for redecorating the guest bedroom and get to work.
