Waiting to be floored

hrjOk, the floor guys can show up any time now. They called earlier to say that not all the materials had arrived as of this morning, so they're going to do the prep work and finish up tomorrow. Fortunately, this means I can give them a key today and not have to wait around tomorrow. Unfortunately, this means I'll only have tomorrow evening to assemble the new bookcase and move stuff back into the room so the living room is useable again.
I bought the bookcase yesterday after work at IKEA -- same model as the bookshelves in the living room, but this one will have half-height glass doors on the bottom so that I don't have to dust the instruments. Or I may put the doors on the top half, so that the center of weight is lower and more stable. Yeah, better idea.
Still working on excavating the dining room table.
