We inherited a very nice four-piece set of kitchen chairs some years back. Unfortunately, they were nicely upholstered with leather (or whatever the term is), and since they came from a smoker, there was No Way we were keeping them. Goodwill gave us a hard time about them. "What's wrong with them?" "Nothing, we just can't stand the smoke smell."
...an hour later when we came back with the next batch, the chairs were out front in full view, with a hefty price tag.
