Book Release Party for Daughter of Mystery

I will be celebrating the release of my first novel, Daughter of Mystery (Bella  Books) at the Other Change of Hobbit bookstore. I will be signing, very likely doing a reading, and generally sharing this milestone with my friends and fans. If you plan to buy a copy of the book at the party, I strongly advise you to contact the store now to reserve a copy so they know how many to have on hand. Also: there will be cake!

Directions: By car, take I-80 to El Cerrito. From the south take the Potrero Ave exit, go one block past San Pablo Blvd and turn left on Kearney St. From the north take the Cutting Blvd exit and turn left on Cutting, right on San Pablo Blvd, in 3 blocks left on Potrero, then immediately Left on Kearney. By BART, go to El Cerrito Del Norte station, walk 2 blocks south on San Pablo Blvd to Potrero, then 1 block east to Kearney.

Hey Heather -- I bought your book on Friday and have just started it. I avoided reading anything you wrote about it here so I could get the full experience. I hope there are lots of juicy Middle Welsh prepositions!

No Middle Welsh prepositions in this one -- although there are a number of subtle easter-eggs for linguistics fans. Mostly the linguistics is hidden in my name-generation ruleset.

I already have my copy, but even so I am sooooooo disappointed I can't make this. Chaz and I will be coming back from visiting a friend in Seattle, and won't be able to make it. Darn it. Congratulations, though. I'm looking forward to reading the book.
