LibraryThing links to commercial sites are limited and not necessarily populated. (For example, the Kindle link didn't lead anywhere.) Also, note that the commercial links are all Amazon affiliates. Amazon, Kindle, Audible, AbeBooks are all part of the Amazon empire. LibraryThing itself is strongly Amazon-linked as AbeBooks became a 40% owner prior to Abe itself being bought by Amazon.
The usefulness (in theory) of sites like Books2Read is that they're platform-neutral. At least, relatively speaking. As I noted, they aren't particularly good at recognizing small press direct sales, but they do cover all the major ebook, audiobook, and hardcopy sales outlets.
