Same old

It's mostly been a projects-around-the-house day. Got caught up on cataloging and shelving books (as previously posted). Verified that the new sofa-bed can expand to sleep mode in its current position. Did a little more tweaking of furniture arrangements in the living room. Tried out the allegedly-more-convenient sewing worktable arrangement (yup, more convenient) to hem some pants I bought yesterday. Continued on to do all the accumulated mending. Installed a handle on one of the external storage area doors. (Turns out not everyone is interested in learning the trick of hooking the padlock into one side of the hasp to get the door open.) Installed a few more tool hooks in the yard-tools storage area. Tackled more of the emergency tree surgery and got everything cleared up from around the poor plum tree. I haven't managed to get in contact with the guy I had do the last tree removal since he's moved. (I don't even know if he's still in the neighborhood.) I've pretty much reached the limit of what I can do. And I'm seriously considering having whoever I hire take out the fig tree while they're at it.
