Ok, I've done it. I've mailed off an order for six pairs of tickets to Cal Performances events. Now I just need to strategize where and how best to advertise for my blind dates. (Yes, yes, I will take all appropriate precautions.) The first one will be the American Ballet Theatre on Nov. 9, so I figure I have a couple weeks to implement the next stage of the plan.

Yeah -- as I posted previously, I'd originally been thinking of doing it with SF symphony tickets, but balked at having to cross the bay and deal with parking in SF. The idea isn't quite so much to be "high culture" as that I wanted something a step up in formality and filtering-potential from going to the movies. I'll give reports and reviews as it progresses (although I might actually lock a few posts if I'm reviewing the date itself).
