The cat is not helping

It seems like an awful lot of people are hacking their way through colds during this past week. (And since this phenomenon isn't confined to local folks, it isn't just us all getting caught out in the rain or something.) Given the amount of extra sleeping I did today, I guess I can settle with my conscience about having stayed home from work again. (Besides, I have a general principle that if I feel bad enough to take off sick at all, then I should take a minimum of one more day than I feel sick.) On the down side, the cat has decided that since I'm sitting in the recliner all day, I'm fair game. This is not actually restful due to her firm belief that it's necessary to demand one level more of attention and physical space than what I find sustainable. Well, back to work tomorrow and maybe the posts will become less boring.
