Not a jolly Halloween

Only two trick-or-treaters. sigh There was a whole clump of them heading down the street just as I got home, but I guess they'd already done my side of the street. An hour later, one pair. And it looks like that's it. Up until this afternoon I was dithering about whether I'd even leave the light on, since I hadn't done a pumpkin and I hadn't bought any goodies yet at that point. Then at the last minute I swung by Trader Joe's to pick up some sticks of fruit leather. I didn't get home from the gym until 7pm, so that may have made me miss a few, but this neighborhood seems to cycle through a good year followed by a bad year. Last year was rather good (after a slow start), so I guess this one was due to be slow. Well, I guess I can turn the light off and finally get to my post-gym shower!
