Dashing through the snow

The Santa of the slopes came early this year and I am now the proud possessor of a set of cross-country ski equipment. Two of the brothers and I went out to the groomed course on the Colby campus yesterday and got in a hour plus on the skis. (I was annoying enough to do another entire loop after they went back to the car, but fergoodnessakes, I hadn't even gotten up a sweat yet!) The campus ski area is close enough to walk to, if I wanted, and if I stay on the groomed trails, I'm not likely to get too lost.

For completeness it should be noted that one of said brothers also did an extra loop before returning to the car. Shall we ditch the youngest and go for endurance next time?

Fitness *rawks*. {envious look} {grin}

Major excursion so far: walked to the UCD library and back with multiple pounds of books. Otherwise a happy hermit here :)
