It was a gorgeous summer-like day (keeping in mind that a Bay Area summer is relatively Spring-like).

Completed from to-do list:
* Do usual weekend grocery shopping.

Completed but not on list:
* Move the rest of the Cut Tree Parts into the woodshed.
* Get distracted by doing some more pruning of overhanging neighbors' trees that the Tree Guy didn't get.
* Prune the suckers off the laurel.
* Re-set the bricks that got pulled up by the Tree Guy. Start re-setting the rest of the brick walkway, which has sunk down to the point where the dirt keeps washing over it.
* Install 2 new citrus trees (see below).

Partially completed from to-do list:
* Go tree-shopping and find something to plant where the apple used to be.
Bought a dwarf Seville orange and a dwarf Key lime, plus assorted herbs. The nursery didn't have anything that fit what I was looking for to take the apple's spot.
* Stain and finish my bench for the same.
Sealant applied. Stain and varathane yet to do.

On tap for the evening:
* Do complete backup prior to installing Leopard the preceding.
* Some subset of the sewing projects.

Yet To-Do:
* Mow the lawn.
* Do the taxes.
* Design, cut out, and sew my overgown for the Perfectly Period Feast.
* Sew cushions for the bench.
* Sew the lacing eyelets on the new doublet for PPF.
* Re-fit my 15th c. hose, create a new pattern from them, and make new hose to go with the new doublet.
* Install Leopard on both the Macs.
* Pack for next week's mid-week ski runaway (must organize with thread_walker re: details).

Have fun with Leopard. I have it on my laptop and like it a lot. I wanted to get my taxes done before putting it on the desktop. I guess I'll do it tomorrow.

Actually, what I mean to do before installing is do some on-line research on what problems and precautions people have come up with. I understand there are a few glitches -- some of which can be prevented and some of which can be retroactively fixed. I'm a bit disappointed that there are glitches at all.
