Blogging Kalamazoo: Friday Evening

At lunch I figured it was time to try eating, so I scoured the student union cafe and found jello and applesauce. After the last afternoon session I was feeling mildly crappy so rather than latch onto one of the dinner expeditions (just for socializing -- I didn't have much appetite) I went back to my room for a nap. Got up again when people started trailing back in from dinner and was chatting with Robin when I got that sudden cold sweat that says, "Head for the sink!" and disgorged myself of said jello and applesauce. Other than that, I was feeling ok, so I spent the rest of the evening hanging out in shalmestere's and hudebnik's room chatting with whoever came by.

This morning I woke up being able to contemplate the thought of solid food without wincing (something I couldn't manage yesterday), so we'll see. Breakfast was applesauce and oj -- I'm not stupid enough to actually try solid food yet. Not until I'm sure I won't be seeing it again.
