Accomplished on two fronts

The lecture handout is done and printed out. I'll take it off to the copy shop tomorrow after work. (It's a small enough job I'll just do it at self-serve.) The only other thing left on my to-do list is to pick up some business card cardstock and print out a bunch of cards to take with me. Usually at this point I do some read-throughs of my text for timing, but there's no way I can rehearse five hours of lectures -- especially since I'm working off-the-cuff from the outline and slides. (I have marked time-checks on the thumbnail outline, although I don't know how convenient it will be to refer to it while I talk.) That means both tonight and tomorrow night I can get to bed by 11pm. Yay.

No sign of our rodent visitor after several hours of those tempting sunflower seeds sitting out in a dark kitchen. So it looks like he's returned to the great outdoors. Yay.

Just in case you want something even more tempting than sunflower seeds, don't forget that ratties just can't resist peanut butter. (Though you probably already knew that.)
