One interesting thing is that the number of different commenters is only slightly smaller than the number of people who have me on their reading list. (Although some of the commenters are visitors rather than "subscribed" readers.) So almost everyone has dropped by to say something at some point.

Bah -- it doesn't actually tell me how many times I've commented, it just shows the bar chart. I want numbers! (Well, okay, not really all that much; just that now the question has occurred to me, I'm curious.)

It's also pleasant to see that I have been commenting, as sometimes I worry that I don't very much.

Odd, the comment numbers are there in the code -- I think what's happened is that my layout format cuts off the last column of the table where the numbers are. Hmm, sure enough, if I copy the table from the journal entry and past it into a blank Word document, everything's there including the comment stats. (The answer in your case is: nine.)

Ah, indeed. That does seem odd that it cuts it off like that.

At 11011110's suggestion, I played around a bit with some graphs, in comments on my stats post; it looks like both of our respective sets of commenters fit a pattern where the number of commenters who posted more than N comments is just about exactly inversely proportional to N, but weirdly my commenters seem to fit this a lot better than yours do.
