Ah, Friday
Aug. 12th, 2006 12:04 amThe princess's clothes got delivered yesterday evening, although without the hem band. I sat down and did about an hour's work on it, calculated what percentage of the total I'd completed, and put it down again. I'm sure I'll finish it sometime before she steps down off the throne. thread_walker's house and my car is still in the shop, so I got a ride with her from work then took BART back, finishing off with a taxi. (It was late, I was tired, and the buses are sporadic that time of night.)
The check from the lawyer arrived in yesterday's mail -- couldn't have arrived any quicker. So I'll be writing that follow-up letter to the complaints department noting this fact.
And I have nothing scheduled for this weekend! (Well, except for doing the month's accounts, and catching up on a couple of e-mail questions that I promised to answer, and finishing up the week's housekeeping tasks, and I'm sure there are several other things besides sleeping in.)
