Premature Triumph on the Rodent Front

Turns out I didn't have a rat smart enough to get out of Dodge; I had a lazy lay-a-bed rat who could be bothered to go out foraging before midnight. I now also have a snap-trap and will acquire a dab of peanut butter for bait. This is war.

Last Lecture Update

A reasonably relaxing evening. I got the handouts printed and collated on my lunch hour. Picked up the business card printer stock before going to the gym. When I got home, I decided to just get all the essentials out of the way before showering and cooking dinner, so I did the cards, packed them and the handouts into the carrying box, laid out my clothes for tomorrow. Have I ever mentioned I'm a bit obsessive-compulsive about not leaving things to the last minute? I've also set up the rat trap (in the same spot I left the sunflower seeds) and baited it with peanut butter. I imagine that I'll be woken up at 2am by a loud snap and a last despairing squeak. But for now, I'm going to bed quite early (and not just in comparison to the last couple weeks).
