Yes, the white blob in front of me is the top of my cat's head. She decided I needed grooming just as I was snapping pix. The photo is courtesy of Leopard's "photo booth" utility, using the built-in camera in the laptop.

In other news, I've actually started a sewing project! (The 4-panel "gothic" gown that thread_walker fitted me for sometime about a year ago. I took it in about another 2 inches, but otherwise the draft still looks viable ... which is a good thing since I cut the fabric out about half a year ago.)

Well I hope I don't quite look the same as 15 years ago, given the whole bit about losing 80 pounds. :)

The glasses in the photo are my computer glasses -- the everyday ones are larger and clunkier, but I'm leaning towards the lighter style for general use as well. Actually, I'm re-evaluating my glasses usage, given that I end up wearing the computer glasses most of the time when I'm at home. If it weren't for those pesky meetings at work where I can't guarantee sitting close to the projection screen, I'd split my life into "driving glases" and "everything else glasses".
