Drop by the credit union for deposits
and to pick up the new checks
look into the previously mentioned credit card mystery Mystery solved. The charge was legit. And even the credit card customer service guy grumbled at how uninformative the listing for the charging party was. I must get more in the habit of scribbling down a hard copy of charges made over the phone or online. I always assume I'll remember having made them when I do the reconciliation.
buy cat food
process most of the produce box into non-perishable form
pack
get my hair cut
briefly contemplate going shopping for something new to wear on the trip and decide I don't have time and have perfectly reasonable things to wear already Although I suppose this could be considered an on-going action item.
verify cat-sitting coverage
verify transit schedules to the airport
Oh, and work on a massively important investigation report at work. Another on-going action item.

ETA: Check 10-day weather report for trip location and adjust packing list, if necessary.

Given all of the other records/lists you do that get mentioned here, I'm actually kind of surprised you don't enter all spending into some sort of iphone app as you do it and reconcile the totals every day or so. (I still don't have an iphone, but I do have quicken on my computer, and I reconcile literally every time I spend anything, is it just part of the process of spending money.)

Oh, but I do -- I basically reinvented Quicken from scratch in Excel and track everything to the penny. (Entering receipts is done periodically, since I'm in the comfortable position of now having to worry what my balance is.) I have a quick-entry sheet for cash expenses that don't have paper receipts that lives in my mobile-me account and therefore can be accessed from the iPhone or desktop. It's just that the "no-receipt credit card" items have only recently started increasing in frequency. It used to be there was only the occasional on-line purchase -- which would provide me with an e-receipt that I'd print out and put with the other paper receipts. It's the phone purchases that fall through the holes in my current system.

Ah, that makes more sense! Sounds like an easy solution to the phone purchases falling through the system would be to just enter them into the phone when you make them.
