Behind the cut is a sketch and some notes taken on my 1999 European trip of a wooden candle-lantern with Gothic tracery cutouts at the Schleswig regional museum.
Himself and I could get behind the purchase of something like this... suits exactly what we've been wanting but not finding. Talk to me when you work out the kinks if you're going to tackle this & we'll see if we can order.
I've looked for stuff like this myself, and never found anything like it. I already have an order for two of something along this line since I showed this picture, so I sense that I will be having to finish this one and solve the problems. I was given a period design sort of like this that I will have to research some more.
