That movie list meme

Having browsed over the 100 Movies to See Before You Die: The Modern Classics list, I'm not going to bother doing the meme in detail. I watch a fair number of movies. I go out and watch movies on my own; I contemplate them seriously enough to review a fair number of them here; I collect movies I like on DVD. I actively seek out movies that I think I would enjoy watching, but I don't tend to watch movies just because they're "popular" or the latest ohmighodyoumustseethis thing. And there are a number of specific genres that just don't do anything for me (e.g., horror). I've watched exactly 10 movies out of that list of 100 -- and I'd say 2 of those were purely accidental (e.g., visiting someone and that's what they had on). I don't know that I'd mark any of the remainder as items I'd like to see.

The movies on my "watched deliberately" list are:
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Clueless (because I'm a collector of Austen pastisches)
Sense and Sensibility (like, duh!)
Titanic (costume flick -- besides, I rather like looking at Kate Winslet)
Princess Mononoke
The Lord of the Rings
Slumdog Millionaire

The movies on my "watched accidentally" list are:
Silence of the Lambs *shudder*
The Matrix

It's an odd list; there are things on it that I've that I wouldn't put on any list of movies to see, while there are other movies that I definitely think should be on it (Milk would probably be my top choice to add to the list).
