The paper is done, polished, tested, tinkered with, proofread, re-tested, and ready to roll. The slides are complete (if, I confess, boring). The handout is assembled, proofread, formatted, and ready for printing.

And on other fronts, the laundry is caught up with; the produce box veggies are all processed into freezable dishes (except for tomorrow's dinner); the ... oops, gotta remind the tenants that this is the first week of the new garbage collection schedule. Oops again, I really ought to reserve a rental car in advance, given the time of day I'll be arriving in Chicago. Still need to pack, but with all the rain here my head's in the right space to choose an appropriate wardrobe. (Think I'll wear the gray silk suit I picked up at the White Elephant Sale for Thursday when all my on-stage stuff happens.) So tomorrow evening's for packing.

And you know what else? I checked my book budget for the year so far and I'm way behind on my spending.
