Another item from the Yingpan Man display. As the trousers are mostly hidden under the skirts of the robe, this description is mainly all about the embroidery.

Photos were not allowed. But also, I've found that if I'm sketching rather than taking photos, I pay a lot more attention to detail. Of course, I get to have the original visual in my memory to accompany the notes, which my readership doesn't have. But details like the stitching of the seams, and the texture of the fabric, and the details you see when you sit next to the case and press your nose against the glass -- those don't come out in photos. (I have the exhibit catalog coming in the mail but I have no idea what it has in the way of images since they didn't have any left when I was actually at the exhibit.)
