Where is everything?

This morning I was once again trying to locate two silk knit tops that I bought earlier this year. I remember wearing each of them at least once. Now I can't find them. I did find a pair of exercise shorts and a sports bra that had fallen down behind one of the drawers inside my dresser. But no knit tops. This evening I've been looking everywhere for my favorite drop spindle. I've got others, but I thought I'd take along some spinning to do tomorrow while daytripping Crown and I've been relying on using the weight of the spindle to keep my thread reasonably consistent. It doesn't actually work that way, since a full spindle pretty much doubles the weight, so if weight alone were the key, the thread wouldn't be consistent at all. But I looked in all my baskets and in all the "miscellaneous craft supplies" drawers. I did find the purple wool Charles the Bold coat that I hadn't quite finished doing alterations on. But I think it's time to do a bit of de-entropizing. And maybe finish the organization of the sewing/craft storage area. Not sure when I'd going to fit this in, but it needs to be done.
