Hoping to be floored

I did the first round of checking out the short-list of flooring stores today after work. What I discovered was that flooring stores aren't designed to be accessible to people who work for a living (unless, maybe, they work at installing floors for a living). Not a one of them had evening hours and only one of the three had open hours posted visibly at all. So that's the one I'm going back to on Saturday. (It's also the largest of the three.) Also managed to catch the roofing guy rather than his machine today and he says he'll be working on scheduling the next batch of jobs over the weekend. To read my journal, you'd think my life has become a solid round of domesticity. Hmm. Maybe it has. I'll try to do something more interesting this weekend.
