Tonight I added the last set of edits from the last read-through, discovered that my clever hack to track multiple sets of tracked changes has not survived (the edits survived, just not the ability to revert them individually), oh and I sent the manuscript to the first publisher on my list. Good thing work is crazy and I have lots of other things to distract me while I'm waiting to hear that they think it's wonderful.

Word does have a nasty habit of randomly deciding to consolidate all changes to one "author". Very annoying. My sympathies.

My Word adventure for today was finally getting it set up on my work computer's Windows partition and confirming that yes, there ARE things that are easy or at least controllable in PC Word that do not exist in Mac Word. Grrrrrrrrr... But at least now I have the possibility of taking a document into PC Word and controlling All the Things. (My iPad tried to make that say it was All the Thongs ;)
