Job opportunity: web design/maintenance

I've come to the conclusion that I really need to bite the bullet and admit that not only do I not have the time/energy/expertise to do my own website creation and maintenance, but there's really no reason why I should, when there are professionals out there. (And, yes, some of those professionals are close friends of mine, but I'd rather put out an open call.)
I'm looking to hire someone to help me with building and maintaining my websites, both my personal one and my writing-related one. The personal one is mostly static content (articles and reference works) although it does have an interactive database (PHP & MySQL). The writing-related site is very bare-bones at the moment but I would like to make it a strong professional "face", including using it for the home base for my blogging. While I'm looking for someone to do the heavy lifting, I would need to be able to do my own day-to-day maintenance and minor updates, so whatever system is used needs to be something I can keep up with. (The sites are currently built in Dreamweaver because I'm a "want to see the bones" sort of person. I've been being pressured to switch to Drupal but the learning curve has daunted me.)
I would prefer to work with someone I have some sort of existing connection with, simply because of the trust issues involved. And to emphasize: I'm talking about paid professional work, not "I'll see what I can do in my spare time as a favor." If you are interested enough to want more details, please e-mail me at website@heatherrosejones.com.
