When I was in graduate school, one of my professors opined that every piece of research you do should be turned into a minimum of at least three separate outputs. (This is in the context of publish-or-perish academic culture.) I don't have the "or perish" part of the equation, but I've been mining the Lesbian Historic Motif Project for a couple of thematic guest-blogs recently.

Over at Women and Words, I posted an essay on five relatively unequivocal examples of lesbian desire in pre-modern European history.

For the annual Lesbian Fiction Appreciation Event, I did a rather light-hearted look at four literary couples whose stories could be turned into lesbian romances with just the slightest of edits.

It will be interesting to see if either of them gave this blog (or my book sales) a boost.
