Did I say "Fall"?

So I was somewhat tongue-in-cheek about the ripe quinces signaling the start of Fall, but then today it wasn't simply foggy all day, it was cloudy. And cold. And all day I kept expecting it to start raining. (It may have done so by now -- haven't checked recently.) Hmm, this means I can actually wear comfortable medievals for Mists' Bardic tomorrow. I'd meant to Accomplish Something on my way home after work -- specifically, to swing by the Stove-and-Hot-Tub store to see if they could give me a referral for a chimney cleaner. (Best to do it before anything else happens in the living room, since I'll never get a better chance.) There's something so very stereotypically northern Californian about a store specializing in woodburning stoves and hot tubs. Not individually -- I mean the combination.
